Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F; grease 12 muffin tins.
Step 2: In a large bowl, mix bran, applesauce, egg, margarine and brown sugar; let stand for 5 minutes.
Step 3: In a separate bowl, blend flour, baking powder and cinnamon; stir in bran mixture just until blended, batter will be lumpy.
Step 4: Stir in raisins.
Step 5: Spoon batter into muffin cups and bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Step 6: Remove from pans; cool slightly.
Step 7: To prepare glaze, blend powdered sugar and applesauce until smooth; drizzle over muffins.
