Step 1: Pierce the scrubbed sweet potatoes with a fork, bake in 350 oven for apprx.1 hour, or until tender.
Step 2: Cool for 10 minutes or until you can handle them.
Step 3: Slip off the skins and cut the sweet potatoes into chunks
Step 4: Transfer to a large bowl, add butter and mash until fluffy
Step 5: Add chili powder, maple syrup, cumin, salt and pepper, stir enough to combine.
