Step 1: Drain and mash black beans leaving some whole.
Step 2: Add chilies (you can add a bit of the juice for extra flavour), salsa, sour cream and half of the grated cheese.
Step 3: Blend well.
Step 4: Pour mixture into medium sized baking dish.
Step 5: Cover with remaining cheese and bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
Step 6: Serve warm with plain tortilla chips.
