Step 1: Melt butter in large skillet. Add steak and onions. Saute on medium high heat until onions are golden and steak is no longer pink.
Step 2: Lower heat to medium low. Stir in soup and sour cream. Heat just until steaming hot. Do not boil. Salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3: Serve over hot egg noodles.
