Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375F.
Step 2: Trim sprouts and cut in half.
Step 3: Toss sprouts with oil and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Step 4: Spread on a nonstick baking sheet in a single layer and roast for 35-45 minutes, stirring occasionally and adding maple syrup for the last 15 minutes of roasting.
Step 5: Toss with toasted hazelnuts and serve.
