Step 1: Microwave butter and onion for 1 minute.
Step 2: Add rice; cook 3 minutes.
Step 3: Mix together hot water, wine and stock cubes; mix until cubes are completely dissolved. Add only 1 cup liquid to rice; microwave 3 minutes.
Step 4: Add remaining liquid; cook 12-14 minutes.
Step 5: Allow to stand 5 minutes before serving.
