Step 1: Place chocolate syrup in bottom of chilled martini glass. With a toothpick pull streaks of chocolate syrup up the side of the glass.
Step 2: Place ice in a cocktail shaker. DO NOT mix alcohols at room temp. The chocolate liqueur will clabber.
Step 3: Pour vodka over ice.
Step 4: Pour chocolate liqueur over ice. Shake until well chilled.
Step 5: Strain into prepared martini glass. If this drink is too strong for your tastes, add 2 ounces cream to cocktail shaker with liqueur.
