Step 1: Heat oven to 350ºF (325ºF for dark or nonstick pan). Grease bottom only of 9-inch square pan with shortening or spray with cooking spray
Step 2: In small bowl, beat cake mix, oil and eggs with electric mixer on low speed until smooth.
Step 3: Press half of the batter in bottom of pan. Cover with candies. Press remaining batter over top.
Step 4: Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely on cooling rack, about 30 minutes. Cut into 3 rows by 3 rows
