Step 1: Mix all ingredients together except onion and bbq sauce.
Step 2: Form into 6 patties. Place on plate then cover and refrigerate for 6 hours or more if you like (this will blend all the flavours together).
Step 3: Cook under broiler or on grill until burgers are cooked through completly.
Step 4: Brush burgers with barbeque sauce and cook for a additional minute or so.
Step 5: Place burger onto bun. Pour additional sauce onto burger and top with chopped onion.
