Step 1: Combine raisins and water and simmer for 5 minutes; set aside.
Step 2: Blend together brown sugar, cornstarch and salt; stir into raisin mixture.
Step 3: Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until clear and slightly thickened.
Step 4: Mix in vinegar and butter; stir until butter melts.
