Step 1: Cut a thin slice from the botton of each squash so they will sit level
Step 2: Place the squash on an oven proof dish or tray, cavity side up
Step 3: Mix together the butter, cinnamon and nutmeg and place a tablespoon in each cavity
Step 4: Distribute the cranberries and apples between the four squash.
Step 5: Cover the squash with foil, bake in 375f oven for 50 minutes. Uncover and continue baking until the squash are tender approximately 10 more minutes
Step 6: Give the apples and cranberries a small stir so they are mixed together and make a nice presentation. Serve hot
