Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Boil macaroni until tender. Drain
Step 2: In a greased 9x9 inch baking dish, combine cream of mushroom soup, mayonnaise, pepper, onion powder, beaten egg and 2 1/2 cups (or more) sharp cheddar cheese together. Mix in drained macaroni.
Step 3: Top with Parmesan cheese or shredded cheddar cheese.
Step 4: Bake until bubbly, about 30 minutes.
