Step 1: Lightly rub a bit of oil on both sides of each steak, sprinkle the hot spice to both sides of the steak and press it into the steaks
Step 2: Cover one side of each steak with thin slices of garlic, cover and place in fridge for at least 2 hours or up to 8 hours. Bring to room temperaure befor frying
Step 3: Melt the butter and oil togeher over high heat in a large heavy frypan (cast iron are perfect), when it is bubbling add the two steaks garlic side up, and fry for 4 minutes
Step 4: Add mushroom to the pan, scoop the garlic off the steak, mix with mushrooms, flip the steak, continue to fry for 4 more minutes Season with salt and pepper
Step 5: Let stand for two minutes, slice and serve,covering the steak with the garlic mushrooms
