Step 1: Add all the ingredients to a small pot and bring to medium high heat. Stir to combine and reduce to low. Cover and cook 10 minutes, stir occasionally. Then uncover and cook an additional 20 minutes until it begins to thicken. Again, stir occasionally.
Step 2: Puree ... Remove from the heat and puree with an immersion blender; or you can add to a standard blender. Puree until smooth. Let it cool and then pour in your favorite container. I love to use mason/canning jars. Refrigerate up to a week or freeze up to 6 months. Great for Christmas gifts! ENJOY! Perfect for the Fall Season.
