Ingredients
- 1 cup margarine or shortening
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 2 cups rice crispy cereal
- 1 cup coconut, raisins, or chocolate chips (optional)
How to Make

Step 1: In a large bowl cream together the margarine, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Mix well.

Step 2: Combine dry ingredients and mix well into creamed mixture.

Step 3: Add cereal and any of the options and blend well

Step 4: Drop by full teaspoons onto a lightly greased cookie sheet and bake in a preheated oven of 350 for 10 - 12 minutes
