Step 1: Have pot of water at a full boil with enough water to completely cover the eggs.
Step 2: Prick the fat bottom of the egg, submerge into the boiling water and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 3: Pour off the boiling water and cover with cold for a minute. This allows you to handle the egg when you scoop it out of the shell.
