Step 1: Cut off the root ends of the brussel sprouts and remove loose outer leaves.
Step 2: Slice the sprouts lengthwise.
Step 3: In a shallow 2 quart microwaveable casserole or baking dish, combine the sprouts, water, oil, lime juice and salt.
Step 4: Cover tightly and microwave on high for 3 minutes, then stir.
Step 5: Re-cover and microwave on high for 2 to 5 minutes, or until sprouts are tender-crisp.
Step 6: Stir in the jalapeño jelly and serve.
