Step 1: Drizzle oil in a skillet and brown meat.
Step 2: Whisk together the soup base, minced onion, chives, oregano, cheese soup, water and sherry.
Step 3: Place meat in crock-pot along with soup mixture.
Step 4: Cook on low for 5 hours or on high for 3 hours.
Step 5: Mix flour and water together until blended.
Step 6: Stir into crock-pot mixture.
Step 7: Add mushrooms and cook for one more hour.
