Step 1: Combine ingredients in a sauce pan. Heat to boil and cool.
Step 2: Rinse and pat dry chicken pieces. Remove skin if you'd like. Rub with a rib rub (I recommend using a rub like my Smoky Bar-B-Que Rub) cover let rest 20-30 minutes or chill several hours. Remove from refrigerator about 30 minutes prior to grilling.
Step 3: Use indirect heat to grill pieces and baste chicken pieces every time it's turned for about 45 minutes.
