Step 1: In a small cup stir honey and pepper together.
Step 2: Cut each fig into quarters, vertically starting at the stem end and stopping 1/2 inch from bottom -- leaving base intact; press fig open.
Step 3: Spoon one teaspoon of the cheese into center of each fig.
Step 4: Arrange figs on platter and drizzle them with the peppered honey.
