Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 2 1/2 cups sweet potatoes, mashed (canned or freshly cooked)
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup pecan halves
- 9 ounce pie shell, unbaked (1 - 9 inch)
How to Make

Step 1: Preheat oven to 400F.

Step 2: Beat eggs and sugar.

Step 3: Add melted butter, salt, milk, vanilla and spices. Blend egg mixture with mashed sweet potatoes and orange juice.

Step 4: Pour into an unbaked pie shell.

Step 5: Garnish with pecan halves.

Step 6: Bake 10 minutes at 400°F. Reduce oven temperature to 375° F oven and bake 40 minutes longer or until golden.
