Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2: Cut 4 pieces of aluminum foil into 18 inches(ish) long each, then spray with a nonstick oil on one side.
Step 3: Mix the ground beef with the onion soup mix and then divide into 4 equal parts; rolling them into balls.
Step 4: Smash the balls to make them flatter (but not as flat as hamburger patties).
Step 5: Wash and quarter the potatoes (or half them if they are really small) and put 1/4 of the potatoes into the center of each piece of oiled foil.
Step 6: Put an even portion of green beans over the potatoes on each piece of foil.
Step 7: Put a beef patty on top of the mound of veggies on each piece of foil.
Step 8: Top them off with 1 tablespoon of butter on top of each beef patty.
Step 9: Close up and seal each aluminum foil packet.
Step 10: Put onto a sheet pan with sides and bake for 45 minutes, or until the beef patties reach 160 degrees internally.
Step 11: Serve each person their own packet; being careful of the steam when you open them (or you can open each packet up yourself and pour the contents onto each plate).
