Ingredients
- Base
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Fruit
- 1 pound strawberries
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
How to Make

Step 1: Cut strawberries and sprinkle with sugar and salt to taste.

Step 2: Let sit 30 minutes

Step 3: Mix up base in bottom of cake pan (sprayed casserole with Pam).

Step 4: Sprinkle on fruit over the top (she said any kind of fruit sugared to taste, cherries, peaches, berries or apples).

Step 5: Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.

Step 6: Serve with hot with whipped cream or cold with ice cream.
