Step 1: Brown hamburg in a large pot breaking it up into medium pieces; drain off excess fat.
Step 2: Add the rest of the ingredients; bring to a boil and then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or till veggies are tender.
Step 3: If you have any leftover rice, peas, or corn, you may add some to this soup at the end and heat.
