Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons bacon grease
- 15 ounces beets, diced, drained (1 can)
- 1 cup onions, diced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
How to Make

Step 1: Heat oven to 425 degrees F.

Step 2: On a cookie sheet, spread the bacon grease.

Step 3: Add onions and beets, season lightly.

Step 4: Bake until onions turn translucent.

Step 5: Stirring occasionally for 10 minutes. (I have a toaster oven so mine may get done faster.)

Step 6: Season to taste.
