Step 1: Heat oil.
Step 2: Saute onions, garlic and rice until rice is opaque.
Step 3: Add spices, broth and beans.
Step 4: Season to taste.
Step 5: Cover and simmer for 20 minutes on low.
Step 6: Take off heat, let set covered for 5 minutes.
Step 7: Add herbs.
