Step 1: Heat the butter and bacon grease in stock pot.
Step 2: Add onions and cook until softened.
Step 3: Add rest of veggies and cook until softened.
Step 4: Add brown sugar.
Step 5: Add more butter if needed.
Step 6: Add parsley and toss.
Step 7: Season to taste.
