Step 1: Fry onions in bacon grease until caramelized.
Step 2: Put liver in 9x13 casserole.
Step 3: Put beef broth half way up.
Step 4: Season lightly.
Step 5: Put fresh herbs on top.
Step 6: Squeeze lemon juice on top when eating to taste
Step 7: Cover with bacon.
Step 8: Put onions on top.
Step 9: Bake in 350 degrees oven until tender, basting often.
Step 10: It said 2 hours but I'm going 45 minutes as the liver is sliced. But check so it doesn't over or under cook.
