Step 1: Cook spaghetti in heavily salted boiling water until al dente. It needs to cook in the sauce a touch.
Step 2: Drain, saving 1/4 cup water.
Step 3: Sauce:
Step 4: In a pan, cook bacon until crisp and remove.
Step 5: Heat oil adding to bacon grease and saute garlic and onion.
Step 6: Add mushrooms and ham.
Step 7: Add bacon back in.
Step 8: Drain if to greasy for you.
Step 9: Add evaporated milk and mushroom soup.
Step 10: Stir until creamy.
Step 11: Add the cream and grated parmesan cheese.
Step 12: Stir and season with ground pepper.
Step 13: Simmer until beginning to thicken.
Step 14: Add pasta and pasta water and stir through sauce until blended.
Step 15: Simmer until thickened.
Step 16: Remove from heat and add parsley.
