Step 1: In a small bowl, combine the active dry yeast, sugar, and warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes, or until the mixture becomes frothy.
Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, olive oil, and salt. Pour in the yeast mixture and stir until a dough forms.
Step 3: Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead it for about 5 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour.
Step 4: Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a clean kitchen towel. Allow it to rise in a warm area for 1-2 hours, or until it doubles in size.
Step 5: Preheat your oven to the highest temperature (usually around 475°F or 250°C) or follow the instructions for your pizza stone or pizza oven.
Step 6: Punch down the risen dough and divide it into two equal portions. Roll out each portion into a circle or desired shape on a floured surface.
Step 7: Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
Step 8: Spread tomato sauce or pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Step 9: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, covering the pizza evenly.
Step 10: Scatter crumbled Italian sausage, chopped bacon, sliced black olives, and red onion over the cheese.
Step 11: Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 12: Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
Step 13: Garnish the Full Moon Wolfman Pizza with fresh basil leaves, creating the illusion of moonlight shining through the trees. Sprinkle red pepper flakes on top if you desire some added spice.
Step 14: Slice the pizza and serve it while still warm.
