Step 1: Cut the onion and the bell peppers into cubes and put them in a pan with the oil and season to taste with salt.
Step 2: Add the meats.
Step 3: Cook until lightly browned.
Step 4: Add garlic and tomato paste, and adding the remaining seasonings to taste.
Step 5: Add tomato puree and water.
Step 6: Simmer until thickened.
Step 7: Simmer 30 minutes.
Step 8: Meanwhile, cook pasta in heavily salted boiling water al dente.
Step 9: Drain, saving 1/2 cup Pasta water.
Step 10: When sauce is tight, add pasta and some pasta water.
Step 11: Cook until tight again.
Step 12: Use parmesan cheese, to taste.
