Step 1: In a food processor or blender, add the drained and rinsed chickpeas, almonds, garlic cloves, lemon juice, tahini, olive oil, cumin, and a pinch of salt.
Step 2: Blend the mixture until it starts to come together, pausing occasionally to scrape down the sides of the container.
Step 3: Gradually add water, a tablespoon at a time, while blending until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency. Continue to blend until all the ingredients are well combined.
Step 4: Taste the hummus and adjust the seasoning by adding more salt if needed.
Step 5: If desired, transfer the hummus to a serving bowl. You can drizzle a little olive oil over the top, sprinkle with a pinch of paprika, and garnish with chopped parsley for added flavor and presentation.
Step 6: Serve the almond hummus with pita bread, fresh vegetables, or your favorite dippers.
