Step 1: Heat meatballs according to package directions and keep warm.
Step 2: Cook egg noodles according to package directions (if using).
Step 3: Saute onion and mushrooms in oil and butter (mixed) with salt and black pepper.
Step 4: Stir in the flour and cook for a minute or two to remove raw flour taste.
Step 5: Add milk and remaining ingredients, stirring until mixture comes to a boil.
Step 6: Cook one minute, stirring constantly, and adjust the thickness with milk or a slurry if needed.
Step 7: Stir in the hot meatballs.
