Step 1: In a mixing bowl put the whole can of pineapple, juice and all, and stir in the pudding; make sure it is blended well.
Step 2: Stir in the whipped topping and let stand for 5 minutes.
Step 3: Now you are ready to either slice the layers and frost or refrigerate the frosting until you want to put dollops on your cake. Either way is good.
