Step 1: Brown bacon and ground beef
Step 2: Add onions
Step 3: Add garlic
Step 4: Cook until translucent
Step 5: Drain off as much fat as you can and then add chili powder , pepper, salt, (season to taste)oregano and tomato juice.
Step 6: Cook until thoroughly warmed through.
Step 7: Add the beans and simmer 1 hour.
