Ingredients
- Cake :
- 1 box (19 ounces) devil's food chocolate cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 teaspoon rum extract
- 1 jar (10 ounces) maraschino cherries
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/4 cup water
- Frosting:
- 8 ounces frozen whipped topping (cool whip),(3 cups)
- 1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
How to Make

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350.

Step 2: In a mixing bowl, mix 1 box cake mix, 3 eggs, ¼ cup vegetable oil, ¼ cup water, and 1 teaspoon of almond extract until well blended.

Step 3: Add a teaspoon of rum (extract)

Step 4: Mix in 10 ounce jar of maraschino cherries and juice.

Step 5: (No stems)

Step 6: In a greased and floured Pam sprayed 9x13 baking dish, pour batter.

Step 7: Bake 30 to 35 min.
