Step 1: Heat oil and saute vegetables until softened
Step 2: Add sautéed vegetables to the bottom of the slow cooker.
Step 3: Add in water, barley, and seasoning .
Step 4: Add water if needed
Step 5: Cover and cook on low for 7 hours.
Step 6: Stir in parsley and check for seasoning
