Step 1: Fill a 9x13 baking dish with the peeled and sliced apples; mix water and cinnamon together and pour over apples.
Step 2: Put all three ingredients into a bowl and work it with your clean fingers till it is well-blended.
Step 3: With your fingers still messy, crumble this topping all over the apples till it is all used.
Step 4: Bake at 400 degrees till the apples are done; top will be golden and and crunchy and apples will be soft.
Step 5: Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream; also good with cheddar cheese.
