Step 1: In a large pot place all the ingredients (figs - lemon juice) and then cover and cook for 30 minutes.
Step 2: Remover cover and keep cooking over medium heat for another 30 minutes or until thickened.
Step 3: Put into sterilized jars and seal -- process in a hot water bath for 10 minutes at sea level or 15 at high altitude.
