Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork, (or veal)
- 3/4 cups bread crumbs
- 2/3 cup chicken broth
- 2/3 cup onion, chopped fine
- 1/3 cup carrot, grated
- 2/3 cup green bell pepper, chopped fine
- 4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup parsley, chopped fine
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon season all
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper, to taste
- Topping
- 7 ounces tomato sauce (1 can)
- 7 ounces water
How to Make

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Spray 9x13 casserole dish with Pam.

Step 3: Mix all ingredients except tomato sauce thoroughly, shape into a loaf.

Step 4: Mix tomato sauce with 1 can water, spread evenly over top.

Step 5: (They basted meatloaf back then.)

Step 6: Bake 1 hour in a 350 degrees F oven.

Step 7: Let rest 10 minutes covered in foil tent (they did that too).
