Step 1: Place the Spice in a small bowl, mix well, set aside.
Step 2: In a large stock pot,
Step 3: Add the oil diced onions and celery, sauté over medium-high heat until the veggies begin to soften, approximately 7 to 9 minutes, stirring periodically
Step 4: Add the garlic, sauté for 1 minute stirring constantly
Step 5: Then add all remaining the remaining soup ingredients ,
Step 6: Do not add the baking soda yet,
Step 7: Add Spice,
Step 8: Stir well to combine.
Step 9: Bring the mixture to a boil, then lower to a low simmering boil, add the baking soda, stir to combine.
Step 10: Cover with a tight-fitting lid.
Step 11: Simmer for 60 minutes stirring occasionally.
Step 12: Add seasoning to taste
Step 13: Stir in garnish last
