Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef stew meat
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 5 carrots cut in 1 inch pieces
- 1 pound potatoes,( 3 large ,peeled cut in quarters)
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 package (1 ounce)dry onion soup mix
How to Make

Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F

Step 2: Mix meat in flour and seasoning

Step 3: Toss in oil

Step 4: Toss into 3 quart casserole

Step 5: Bake uncovered for 30 minutes

Step 6: Stir once

Step 7: Add remaining ingredients

Step 8: Cover and bake 2 hours at 375 degrees or until meat is tender
