Step 1: In a large stockpot, brown the hamburger, and drain off the fat.
Step 2: Add the onion and garlic and cook until tender.
Step 3: Add the remaining ingredients and heat to boiling.
Step 4: Reduce heat and cover; simmer for 15-20 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Remove bay leaf before serving.
