Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons shortening
- 1 egg ,large
- 3/4 cup milk
How to Make

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

Step 2: Sift dry ingredients

Step 3: Cut in shortening

Step 4: Add beaten egg to milk

Step 5: Pour into flour

Step 6: Mix

Step 7: Turn out onto heavily floured board

Step 8: Dough will be sticky

Step 9: Roll out to 1/2 an inch
