Step 1: Grease and line a 30cm x 21cm slice pan with baking paper (this makes for a thin slice or use a smaller pan for thicker slices and less of them) and set aside.
Step 2: Stove top - melt chocolates over a low heat and then add condensed milk and stir until smooth and well combined (use a metal spoon as wooden could impart other flavours into the chocolate); pour into prepared tray and once cool set in the fridge.
Step 3: Microwave - in a heatproof bowl, melt the chocolate in the microwave by heating half the amount for 1 minute and then stirring. Add the remaining chocolate and keep stirring. Heat in 10 second bursts until all of the chocolate is melted and then pour into prepared tray and once cool set in the fridge. I have not tried this method for this recipe but have melted chocolate in the microwave before using this method.
Step 4: Before slicing bring out of the fridge for 15 to 30 minutes to make it easier to get out of the tray and slice and put into an air tight container and store in the fridge and please note this is very rich.
Step 5: VARIATIONS - add nuts and or dried fruits or chocolate chips of choice or just top the slice with them. Use a just one type of chocolate of choice if preferred.
