Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 brown sugar,packed
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 package (6 ounces) chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup walnuts,chopped
How to Make

Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Step 2: Cream shortening and butter

Step 3: Add sugars cream

Step 4: Add egg and vanilla

Step 5: Sift dry ingredients add to creamed mixture

Step 6: Stir in nuts and chips

Step 7: Spray pam in 9x13 pan

Step 8: Pour in dough

Step 9: Bake 25 minutes until done

Step 10: Let cool before cutting
