Step 1: Sauté beef and mushrooms in butter for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 2: Combine soup with milk and stir until smooth and thoroughly blended.
Step 3: Stir soup mixture and Worcestershire into beef mixture.
Step 4: Season with pepper to taste.
Step 5: Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 6: Sprinkle with toasted almonds if your adding ,again why?
Step 7: Serve on toast.
