Step 1: Shuck 18 oysters keeping oyster liquor. In a large pot
Step 2: Saute scallions in butter until tender.
Step 3: Add remaining ingredients.
Step 4: Cook over low heat until edges of oysters begin to curl, and mixture is hot, but not boiling.
Step 5: Garnish with sliced scallions, and serve with toasted bread or crackers.
