Step 1: If using meat, brown the meat over medium-high heat in sauce pot until meat looses its pinkness, but don't over brown. If not using meat, simply start with the next step.
Step 2: Stir together in sauce pot; plain tomato sauce, condensed tomato soup, and water to browned meat (if making meat sauce).
Step 3: Add the rest of the ingredients in order given, including coffee, and bring to a simmer. Cook for ten minutes. The coffee mellows the tomato flavor and gives this sauce a "Cooked all day" flavor.
Step 4: Serve over your favorite pasta. Leftover sauce can be stored in fridge or frozen and improves by melding the flavors.
