Step 1: Heat oil in a heavy soup pot over medium heat.
Step 2: Add onions, garlic, celery and carrots, and saute until al dente.
Step 3: Do not brown.
Step 4: Add tomatoes and stock, and heat until vegetables are almost cooked.
Step 5: Cook 15 minutes
Step 6: Do not overcook
Step 7: Add pasta, and continue to cook 10 minutes
Step 8: Add green beans , fava beans,peas and parsley.
Step 9: Simmer 10 minutes
Step 10: Season with salt and pepper to taste
Step 11: Put in bowl
Step 12: Sprinkle with parmesan.
